In 2008 the following four images won honorable mention in the Georgia Southern Exhibition Circuit which runs from March through July, 2008: Grizzly Chase, The Kill, Polar Bear Tag, and Grizzly Time Out. In 2008 Caryl was also awarded a silver medal for her wolf image, “Precious Moment” at the Holland International Image Circuit which is held every four years.
2007 was a busy year. Caryl was awarded a PSA Bronze Medal at the 32nd Smethwick International Exhibition of Photography 2007 where three of her images were accepted for display. She entered the Georgia Southern International Exhibition Circuit in February 2007. Here two of her images were awarded honorable mention in the Woodstock Southern, one won a gold medal at the Peachtree Southern, and one image was awarded honorable mention at the Atlanta Southern. In all seven of the eight images Caryl submitted were accepted for inclusion in the exhibitions. The 2007 PSA juried Northwest International Exhibition of Photography at the Puyallup Fair accepted seven of Caryl’s images for display and two won Honorable Mention: Curious Grizzly Cubs and White Ibis Lunch.
In August 2004 her hummingbird photo was Peoples’ Choice at the 18th Annual Canterbury Festival in Kent, Washington. In August 2005 her Dancing Loon photo won “Best in Show Animals” large color prints at the Northwest International Exhibition of Photography at the Puyallup Fair. In August 2006 four of Caryl’s wildlife images were accepted by the jury for inclusion into the Northwest International Exhibition of Photography at the Puyallup Fair.
